Adorable indeed :) Is this a random pic to propagate the cause of adoption of animals or that of a specific li'l fur baby looking for a home? In which case, details would be required :) Maybe on the pic itself if you're fastidiously sticking to the Wordless Wednesday theme!
It is a random pic that I shot in Kodaikanal more than seven years back. This was the first picture that came to my mind. I just thought it would be apt to promote the cause of adoption
Really cute pic, Prashanth :) And that's such a noble thought that you thought of this pic and the cause. If you would/could help support the cause of adoption more effectively and specifically, I would invite you to check out the FB page of CAD (The Chennai Adoption Drive). (Link: https://www.facebook.com/ChennaiAdoptionDrive.) There are a tad too many animals that are up for adoption every single week and its not easy finding them a good home. If you are inclined to help, you could share the pics of specific animals that are all always vaccinated and healthy before they are put up for adoption. Their names and all relevant details with contacts along with their photographs are made into posters that some of us volunteers share on our FB walls from time to time. You could also blog about it if you choose to do so. Any idea to bring more awareness is more than welcome :)
I'm a strong believer in adoption, be it animals or people.. infact was part of the blue cross adoption drive held recently and it was such joy watching people take home puppies :)
My own dog - Floppy- i brought him in from the streets, he was a tiny 1month old pup alone n lost under a water lorry. and now its been 5 beautiful years :)
Your post proves that pictures indeed speak a thousand words!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, dogs are Earthlings too, they need homes, warmth and love just like us.

DeleteSusan! Just saw your comment (and mine!). Thank you for the tag and for thinking of me :-)
ReplyDeleteI am assuming you are very passionate about this cause?
DeleteI don't even know if it is a 'cause' to me :) It is just one of those things that needs to be done, at least for me! :)
DeleteIndeed @ Kaushik...in fact I'm wondering what the li'l fella is thinking while this pic was being clicked! :))
